The NT Veteran Collective – Life, Service and Beyond

Military service is easily misunderstood by those who have not worn the uniform. Those who have signed on the dotted line to serve our country have done it for a range of reasons. Every book should not be judged by their uniform. This collective exhibition delves into the artistic representation of a life of service and the lives of those who support those who serve. Veterans and their families reflect experience of service life through creative expression, showcasing their unique identity and supporting wellbeing. Veterans and family members have come together to share their experience through their own unique lenses.

I currently have a variety of Veterans and the family members that are part of this exhibition, but I still need more. Several who have expressed interest are already members and have exhibited previously at DVAA (Darwin Visual Arts Association) in either members shows or their own exhibitions. But if you're not a member of DVAA I will cover your membership so that you can take part in the exhibition.

I am inviting Veterans who do any medium including painting, drawing, sculpture and photography. I am looking to curate it in a way that showcases the entire journey of Veterans and their families through their service and beyond.​
